PRIVACY & COOKIES
Your information. Handled with care.
This policy explains how Oakridge Remodeling LTD. handles personal information when you contact us, request renovation services or use our website.
Who to contact
Oakridge Remodeling LTD. operates in Regina, Saskatchewan. For privacy questions, access or correction requests, or a concern about our handling of information, contact our Privacy Officer at info@oakridgeremodeling.ca or 306-450-5433.
Policy review date: September 22, 2026.
Information we collect
You may provide your name, contact details, property location, project description, budget, timing, photographs and other information when requesting services or communicating with us. Project records can also include estimates, agreements, invoices and service correspondence.
The website and its service providers may collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, pages viewed, referral information and interactions. Cookies and similar technologies can support website functions, measurement and advertising. Avoid sending sensitive documents that are not needed for your enquiry.
Why we use it
We use relevant information to respond to enquiries, assess project fit, prepare estimates, coordinate and deliver renovation services, administer payments and warranties, maintain records, improve the website and protect our operations. We may also use information where needed to meet applicable legal obligations.
Your choices and consent
We explain the purpose of information requests and seek consent where required. You may contact us to ask about a use or withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. We will explain any effect on the services we can provide.
Sending a project enquiry asks us to respond about that project. It does not, by itself, enrol you in a marketing mailing list. Marketing messages are subject to applicable consent requirements and include a way to unsubscribe.
Forms, service providers and sharing
Our project request form uses Jobber. Information submitted through it is processed to manage enquiries and project communications. Other providers may support website hosting, email, payments, accounting, analytics and advertising. Providers receive information relevant to the services they perform.
We may share necessary project information with trade partners involved in assessing or delivering your renovation, or disclose information where required or permitted by law. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our website uses Google services and Meta/Facebook tracking technology for purposes that may include site measurement, advertising performance and audience-related features. These technologies may process technical identifiers and information about website activity. Third-party content, such as forms, reviews or other embedded services, may also use its own technologies.
Browser settings can limit or delete cookies, and Google and Meta provide privacy and advertising controls within their services. Blocking cookies may affect website features. Browser controls do not necessarily stop every form of tracking or delete information already collected. Contact us with questions about the tools used on our site or your available choices.
For general guidance, see the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada’s information on online behavioural advertising.
Budget calculators
The renovation calculators calculate a planning estimate in your browser. Using a calculator does not automatically send Oakridge a project request. If you choose to share a result by email or through a form, the information you send is handled as an enquiry. Sitewide analytics and tracking are separate from the calculator’s budgeting function.
Project photographs and testimonials
We seek appropriate permission before using identifiable client project photographs or testimonials for marketing. If you have a concern about published material relating to your home or your feedback, contact us with the relevant page and details.
AI-assisted tools
We may use AI-assisted tools to support administrative work, content preparation or service communications. Relevant personal information remains subject to our privacy responsibilities. These tools do not replace the site assessment, professional judgment or agreement needed for a renovation project.
Processing outside Canada
Some service providers may process or store information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws and lawful access requirements of that jurisdiction. Contact us if you would like further information about the providers relevant to your enquiry or project.
Retention and safeguards
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including project administration, warranty support, business records and applicable legal obligations. We use safeguards appropriate to the information, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Access, correction and concerns
You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable legal limits. We may need to confirm your identity before responding. Please describe the information or concern so we can review it.
If a privacy concern remains unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Other websites and policy updates
External links and embedded services may have their own privacy practices. Review their policies when using them. We may update this policy as our services or practices change; the review date above identifies this version.
