Completed kitchen sink wall and central island in an Eastview Regina renovation
Eastview · Storage, counter space and an island designed together

THOUGHTFULLY PLANNED. CAREFULLY BUILT.

A beautiful kitchen starts with how you use it.

Where do groceries land? Can two people cook comfortably? Is the island helping the room—or getting in the way? We work through those questions before cabinets and finishes are ordered.

Small kitchen renovations in Regina

Oakridge plans small kitchen renovations around circulation, cabinet storage, appliance clearances and the way you cook. We review cabinet configuration, full-height storage, useful counter space and lighting before products are ordered.

Update your kitchen within the existing footprint

Keeping the room boundaries and a workable galley or L-shaped arrangement can still allow new cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, flooring and lighting. Retaining the footprint does not automatically mean every plumbing or electrical connection can stay unchanged; we assess the services and define the work in your estimate.

Our compact character-home kitchen project retained its galley arrangement while adding full-height storage, new cabinetry and finishes. Where a larger layout change makes sense, we assess the structure and services before defining the scope.

GOOD QUESTIONS. STRAIGHT ANSWERS.

Kitchen renovation questions.

Can we change the kitchen layout?

Often, yes. We first assess the existing walls, structure, plumbing, electrical and ventilation. Removing a wall or relocating services can change the design, permit requirements and budget.

Our planning guide allows roughly 4–8 weeks for construction on many full kitchen projects, with planning and ordering before that. Complexity, inspections, product lead times and site conditions determine the actual schedule. Your project schedule is discussed before work begins.

Many homeowners do, but the kitchen will be disrupted. We discuss access, temporary cooking arrangements, dust control and the work sequence so you can decide what is practical for your household.

We can discuss homeowner-selected products. Compatibility, dimensions, delivery timing and responsibility for product issues need to be clear before the scope is finalized.

No. It is a planning tool. A site assessment, defined scope and selections are needed for a project estimate. Read how estimates work.

Yes. Oakridge renovates small kitchens in Regina by reviewing circulation, cabinet configuration, full-height storage, usable counter space, lighting and appliance clearances. Our compact character-home kitchen renovation retained the galley arrangement while adding new cabinetry, storage and finishes. The site assessment establishes which improvements suit your room.

Yes. If the existing arrangement works, we can plan new cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, flooring and lighting within the current room boundaries. We check appliance dimensions and the existing plumbing, electrical and ventilation before defining the scope. Keeping the footprint can avoid some layout work, but does not guarantee a particular saving or eliminate required service upgrades.

Compare equivalent scopes: cabinetry and installation, countertops, demolition, trade work, allowances, exclusions, taxes, coordination and warranty. Oakridge provides a staged written scope, cost-plus billing with weekly invoices, a project coordinator and a 3-year workmanship warranty under the written terms.
