PRACTICAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR YOUR HOME

A smaller scope deserves a thoughtful finish.

You don’t always need a whole-room renovation. Sometimes the right project is replacing worn flooring, finishing the trim, repairing a damaged wall or updating part of a bathroom. We focus on defined interior improvements and repairs that make your home work and feel better.

Doors, trim & finish carpentry

Interior door replacement or adjustment, baseboards, casings, shelving and finishing details. We assess the existing openings and surfaces before confirming the work.

Drywall & wall repairs

Repair damaged drywall, patch openings left by previous work and prepare affected areas for finishing. Painting and blending into adjacent surfaces are discussed as part of the scope.

Flooring & room updates

Flooring replacement in smaller areas, transitions and related trim work. Existing subfloor conditions, product requirements and adjoining finishes help determine the scope.

Targeted bathroom updates

Vanity-area updates, mirrors, accessories and focused shower improvements. Plumbing, electrical and waterproofing requirements are assessed and included where needed.

Cabinet & hardware improvements

Cabinet adjustments, handles, hinges and selected finishing work. Share photos and product details so we can confirm whether repair, adjustment or replacement is practical.

Finish the outstanding work

Bring together the unfinished trim, damaged surfaces and related repairs left around your home. We help prioritize the list and identify which tasks can be coordinated.

Project estimate

For more involved work

Flooring, vanity changes, shower improvements and projects involving several tasks are assessed and estimated according to their scope.
Prices are in CAD. Materials, fixtures, disposal, specialist trade work and permits are additional where required and are identified in the estimate or agreed scope. GST (5%) and PST (6%) are additional as applicable. The $285 minimum is a labour charge, not an all-inclusive renovation price.

REAL OAKRIDGE WORK · MAPLE RIDGE, REGINA

A bigger shower. A focused renovation.

At Maple Ridge, unused space allowed an existing 32-inch shower to expand to 60 inches. A new acrylic base, MAAX U-Tile walls, glass and black fixtures completed the targeted upgrade.

This was a separately estimated renovation, not a minimum-charge handyman visit. Its published project investment was approximately $14,000; another home requires its own assessment.

A straightforward way to get started.

1. Show us the project

Tell us what you want to repair or change, your Regina-area location and preferred timing. Include photos and approximate dimensions if available.

2. Confirm the scope

We review suitability, materials, access and any trade requirements. When needed, a site assessment helps define the estimate and work sequence.

3. Schedule the work

Once the scope and pricing are agreed, we arrange the work. Related tasks may be combined, while drying time, deliveries or trade visits can require more than one appointment.

GOOD QUESTIONS. STRAIGHT ANSWERS.

Small project questions.

What kinds of smaller projects are a good fit?

Defined interior repairs and improvements such as doors and trim, drywall repairs, smaller flooring areas, cabinet adjustments and targeted bathroom upgrades. A list of related tasks helps us plan the work efficiently.

Often, related tasks can be grouped. The amount completed depends on their condition, preparation, materials and access. Some work requires drying time, additional products or a return visit; we discuss that when planning the scope.

No. It covers the first three hours of Oakridge labour for suitable handyman work. Materials, fixtures, disposal and other required project costs are additional, along with applicable taxes. More involved renovations receive a project-specific estimate.

Yes, we can assess a targeted vanity-area or shower improvement. The existing plumbing, electrical, wall and waterproofing conditions determine what is practical. A small visible change can still require preparation or specialized trade work.

Oakridge handles the work appropriate to our team and coordinates qualified trade partners when the scope requires them. Required permits, inspections and specialist work are discussed as part of the project.

We can discuss homeowner-supplied products. Dimensions, compatibility, availability and responsibility for product issues need to be clear before the work is scheduled. Please share product details before purchasing for the project.

We explain the additional work and discuss the scope and cost implications before proceeding. For broader changes, explore our bathroom, kitchen and whole-home renovation services.

Regina is our primary service area; nearby projects are considered based on scope and scheduling. Oakridge provides a 3-year workmanship warranty subject to the written project terms. View service areas or read the warranty overview.
