THE STARTING POINT

Out with the older tile and pedestal sink.

The existing bathroom had a tiled tub surround, a pedestal sink and a patterned tile floor. The project photos show those finishes before work began, followed by demolition, exposed framing and the rebuilt bathing area.

The renovation added an acrylic tub and surround, a dark vanity with a round mirror, wood-look plank flooring and open shelving beside the door. Updated paint and trim bring the pieces together without sacrificing the compact layout.

BEFORE & AFTER

A clear change in the same room.

AFTER · New vanity and round mirror

The before photos show the original tiled surround, pedestal sink and floor. During the renovation, the wall behind the tub was opened and the new bathing area was installed. The progress photos also show the floor prepared and the new planks fitted.

In the completed room, a white acrylic tub and surround keep the bath bright. A dark vanity, round mirror and warm wood-look floor add contrast, while built-in open shelves make use of a narrow space beside the door.

The details that changed the room.

A new bathing area

The old tile was removed and the tub area rebuilt with a white acrylic bathtub and surround with integrated shelves.

A warmer floor

Wood-look plank flooring replaces the patterned tile, bringing warmth to the compact bathroom.

Storage and finish

A dark vanity, round mirror, painted trim and built-in open shelving complete the useful, lighter room.

THE RESULT

A bathroom ready for daily use.

The finished bathroom is brighter and easier to use, with a clean tub surround, a vanity that adds storage, warm flooring and shelves within reach. These final photos show the whole room and the close-up details that complete it.

This Regina project is an example of how a full bathroom renovation can update function and finishes while working within the existing footprint.
