PROJECT AT A GLANCE

Pappas Crescent

Kitchen & main floor

Documented Oakridge renovation

Before · Pappas Crescent

THOUGHTFULLY PLANNED. CAREFULLY BUILT.

The starting point.

The kitchen’s entry closet and nearby exterior door occupied useful space. The project needed to rethink those connections before the new kitchen could work as intended.

BEFORE & AFTER

See what changed.

AFTER · Pappas Crescent
The entry closet and exterior door beside the kitchen were removed. A dining-room window was converted to a garden door, shifting the outdoor connection and making room for the new kitchen arrangement.

The details that made the difference.

A richer material palette

Black cabinetry is balanced by walnut accents and brass details, with the island giving the kitchen a strong centre.

A better outdoor connection

The new garden door serves the dining area, freeing the kitchen from the old door-and-closet arrangement.

Details that tie it together

Cabinetry, the hood and island details were coordinated to make the space feel like one complete project.

THE RESULT

A renovation shaped by this home.

The finished project combines a more useful kitchen arrangement with a deliberate connection to the dining area and outdoors. It shows why layout decisions deserve attention before the finish palette.

Documented project scope: the entry closet and exterior door beside the kitchen were removed, a dining-room window became a garden door, and the kitchen was arranged around black cabinetry, walnut details, brass accents and an island. The project addressed the relationship between rooms, not only the cabinet finishes.
